Two of our biggest projects for the house have been to restore and repair 2 tables from my Ma-Maw Warlick's old farm house.
The first one was her old white marble table. The marble is cracked so it is being cut and we will trim out the marble with walnut. This thing literally had 5 layers of paint on it!! Unfortunately I don't have an updated stained picture yet - but it's on the way!
My Ma-Maw's name written on the botttom part of the marble (too cool)!!

Next is our new media console/toy chest. This was my Ma-Maw's old flour bin. The coolest feature about this piece is that the cabinet on the right is a hinged drop out cabinet, where she used to scoop her flour from!

It went from dark and drab to minty and fresh!!
