Last weekend we were in Boone celebrating the 1st birthday of our good friends' Brian and Lindsey's son Avery. His party was full out baseball theme... From a full concession's stand with hot dogs, popcorn, cupcakes, twizzlers, candy and cokes - even down to baseball cake pops! Simply adorable!
Not only do trips to Boone mean great friends but it also means amazing food.
Saturday night we took Hudson to the new Mellow Mushroom downtown and he loved the Greek Salad and pizza as much as his parents did! We finished our night off with friends laughing and watching the boys play.
Sunday, while cold, was amazing. Valle Crucis park and Woodland BBQ completed our trip before heading home.
As for the house, we officially break ground the week of March 12th!!
Everything is picked out - from door knobs to wall colors.

Why do Grayson and Hudson look so much alike? It's seriously freaking me out!! I feel like I am watching Grayson grow up all over again.
